Welcome ! We work in 3 ways and have over 27 years Teaching & Tutoring experience.

Firstly, we provide Private & Group Tuition to students of any age.  Abacus Tutors is also experienced in providing Home-Education and tailoring lessons to the needs of its students.  Studying with us is more efficient than in a cramming institution as we work to improve your knowledge and comprehension, so improving your confidence. The Tutees pages should assist those seeking tuition whilst the New Tutors section should assist any prospective tutors.

Secondly, we provide Training for employees in varying types of business.  We can assist with Literacy, Numeracy, Foreign Languages or ICT lessons.

Thirdly, we are an Umbrella Body for the CRB. As a Registered Umbrella Body, we are able to process applications for Disclosures and apply on behalf of those requiring ISA-Registration. From October 2009, people working with children or vulnerable adults will require registration with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA ).Our clients include companies, charities and other tutorial agencies & tutors. Please refer to Business & CRB or ISA Services. A Site Map is placed at the foot of this page.

Our tutors have Enhanced Disclosures and are expected to be able to make these available for inspection by our clients upon request.
